Role: Producer
Core responsibilities:
· Report to the Studio Head and be part of the core management team of the studio.
· Managing the cross-discipline teams and supporting the production teams with expert interventions if necessary.
· Responsible for the studio's project management processes
· Schedule development activity to hit deadlines
· Project manage all stages of game development
· Creating and assessing builds prior to submission to Publisher.
· Liasing with counter parts at the Publisher including QA
· Chair leads and other internal meetings
· Development for all production staff
· Troubleshooting production team problems
· Strategic planning and allocation of staff to projects
· Establish and maintain relationships with all team members.
· Present and champion the game to 3rd parties when necessary
Qualities
· Excellent team players with good communication skills, an individual that will at all times consider what is best for the project and team.
· Strong interpersonal and team motivational skills.
· A thorough understanding of all processes involved in the creation of a game, from start to end.
· Excellent problem solving abilities coupled with serious attention to detail.
· Proactive individual, a person who is comfortable accepting responsibility.
· Encyclopaedic knowledge of games on all platforms
· At least 5 years experience in the games industry with several completed games to your credit. Preferably with PX3, XBox 360 PC development experience.
· Hard working, honest, patient and a person who takes great pride in the job he is doing.
Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Project, and other dedicated project management tools a prerequisite. In addition experience with the many project management methodologies and their application highly desirable.
