Job responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing SHE management system and procedure as well as activities in accordance to local regulations and corporate standards
Perform on-site inspection and provide advice for non compliance to other departments
Assist in the evaluation of processes/activities. Recommend measures to reduce SHE risks and improve worker satisfaction covered under Risk Assessment as per WHSA
Arrange and conduct training to employees in SHE aspects in order to raise awareness and promote a safe workplace
Compile monthly, quarterly and yearly SHE reports for the purpose of updating Management as well as corporate
Manage fire safety management system and conduct regular tests to evaluate staff responsiveness
Involve in industrial hygiene, office ergonomics, waste and environmental management related tasks as and when required
Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Science
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical, chemical or related industry
Registered Safety Officer
Registered workplace Safety & Health Officer with MOM
Qualified Fire Safety Manager (SCDF)
Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills
