We are looking to recruit Project Manager / Principal engineers to join the thermal power plant teams of the Generation Business Division.
The division is heavily involved in all aspects of power station development, energy from waste, biomass, nuclear and renewable projects globally working with a diverse range of clients including utilities, EPC contractors, civil contractors, developers and major financing institutions. The Singapore office operates as a technical advisory for lenders, or ‘lenders engineer’.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Carry out due diligence/lender’s engineering/technical advisory activities for our clients.
With experience of thermal power projects, the successful candidates should have the ability to lead and grow teams and have a good knowledge of thermal power plants with experience of the specification, design and/or development.
CANIDATE SPECIFICATION:
Applicants should be educated to degree level, preferably chartered and with relevant experience in the power generation industry. You should be prepared to undertake short visits within the Asia Pacific region and further to meet with clients and contractors at short notice as required.
Candidates should have a background in civil, mechanical, electrical, process or C&I design.
An innovative approach is essential to be successful in these roles, together with a flexible attitude to work and a willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
