A well established company in Rubber Technology polymer industry located in Jurong has immediate vancancy for Design Engineer.
Responsibilities:
You will report to the Design & Engineering Manager.
To conceptualize, design and develop newelastomer products for infrastructure, marine and offshore oil & gas industries based on international standards.
Re-engineer existing products to improve performance.
In charge of preparation and design drawings in AutoCad and conduct finite element analysis (FEA ) - Abaqus CAE 6.8 /Solidworks Office Premium 2008.
Provide technical solutions and evaluation for bidding projects preparation.Work closely with the project team.
Attend technical meetings with clients during bidding stage and project kick-off meeting.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
(Mechanical/Structural)from recongnized polytechnic or
university.
Familiarity with new product development process based on elastomer and steel structure.
Hands-on knowledge in AutoCad software.
Familiar with finite element analysis(FEA)software ABAQUS CAE 6.8 /
Solidworks.
Office Premium 2008 would be added advantage.
