Finance Assistant (US MNC / Town Area)
 

Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
- Review vendor invoices received on timely basis and perform GL coding accordingly
- Familiar with AP and AR processes
- Equipped with Finance module knowledge in Peoplesoft system
- Ensure timely data-entry of vendor invoices to meet closing dateline
- Payment process including check preparation, obtained signature from top management and offsetting payments process in AP system
- Filing for check request payment vouchers
- Prepare Bank reconciliation and monthly bank report on monthly basis
- Prepare fund transfer from within subsidiary companies
- In charge for Petty cash claims reimbursement for employees
- Working closely with Human Resource department pertaining to staff benefits & claims issues
- Familiar with GST report preparation

Billing
- Handle AR issues, inclusive of coordination of discrepancies, raising of debit & credit memo and liaising with internal affiliates on debit/credit matters
- Monitor the aging of accounts and DSO and follow up on past due accounts
- Prepare or update Past Due Report/Analysis and AR ageing report
- Align & liaise with other parties on Interdivision Billing
- Ensure that all policies & procedures on credit control be strictly adhered
- Able to handle billing queries

Ad-hoc functions
- Assist in preparation of reports
- Assist in implementation of Finance and Internal Controls projects

Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma in Finance / Accounting, OR Partial Professional Qualification. Candidates with qualification in Business Admin or It will also be considered
- 2 to 3 years’ of experience in related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency
- Full of initiative and eager to learn new things
- Knowledge of Peoplesoft system is an advantage
- Only Singaporean and Singapore PR may apply
