Company description:
The NGO Wildlife Alliance (formerly operating as WildAid) has field programs in Southeast Asia, Russia, and marine protected areas in the Western Pacific. In Cambodia, Wildlife Alliance has been working with the Royal Government of Cambodia since 2000, assisting with the preservation of tropical rainforest, development of sustainable agriculture, and rescue and care of endangered wildlife. The organization (1) works with communities to help them develop alternative livelihoods so they no longer need to destroy forests and wildlife for survival, (2) raises awareness amongst the public to stop consumption of wildlife and (3) strengthens government agencies law enforcement capacity to stop forest clearing and land grabbing, logging, wildlife poaching, illegal sale of timber and non-timber forest products.
